Affiliate disclosure
How ChillShelf can earn money, and how you can tell a paid link from an ordinary one.
Current status
ChillShelf has active affiliate links with: Amazon. Paid links are marked where they appear. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
How affiliate links work here
ChillShelf funds itself through affiliate programs. If you click an affiliate link and then buy something, a merchant can pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you.
When a link is paid:
- The page says so near the top, before the first paid link.
- The link is labeled “Affiliate link” beside the button, and marked in the code as a sponsored link for search engines.
- The status at the top of this page lists the merchant.
We follow the principle in the Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides FAQ: a material connection should be disclosed clearly and close to the recommendation, not just in a footer.
What commissions don’t affect
Commission rates aren’t a ranking signal. A fridge’s fit and the evidence behind it decide what we say about it.
Links to manufacturers
Where we have no approved tracked link, a product button goes straight to the manufacturer’s own page and is labeled “View specifications.” ChillShelf earns nothing from those links. Links to manuals and references in our articles are editorial sources, and they aren’t paid.
Prices
We don’t have a live price feed. A price appears only with the date we checked it, and it’s dropped once that check goes stale. Amazon buttons show no price here, because Amazon’s price can change at any time. Always confirm the current price on the merchant’s site.
