Measure the opening, then add the exact model's handle, hinge, clearances and door swing. Worked examples from NewAir manuals show how much room you need.
Two dual-zone NewAir wine fridges with similar capacity and very different installation rules. A documents-only comparison of size, zones and clearances.
The listed size is never the space you need. Space needed is the fridge’s size, plus its handle and hinges, plus the clearances in that model’s manual.
The difference can be large. NewAir’s NWC028SS01 is 18.90 inches wide but needs 5 inches each side, about 28.90 inches in all. Its NWB076BS00 asks for ¼ inch at each side when built in.
Where the answers are

When to get help
Have a licensed electrician deal with any new outlet or circuit, and any doubts about grounding. Leave refrigerant and sealed-system repairs to authorized service. The NWC028SS01 manual says that servicing should be done by factory-authorized personnel. Cabinet work is your call, but don’t cut or modify the fridge.
